The Process

As a new organization, we are still working through and formalizing the placement process.

Currently, things get started with an Inquiry Application, found here: Form Link

This will be reviewed within a few days, and communication will begin from there, generally in the form of email. If things are looking like a good fit might be made, the next step is a video phone call, generally conducted through Zoom.

If both parties agree that things are looking positive, then a home visit will be initiated.

Finally, it is the preference of LAP that new owners travel to the city where the dog is housed (currently puppy raisers are in Cookeville, TN and Albany, KY) and plan to spend 3-5 days minimum. It is the goal of our program to enhance the lives of others - both 2 and 4 legged - by ensuring great compatibility within the team.
